Abstract: Wii has Wii Sports, and the PlayStation Move/PS3 now has Sports Champions. Is Sports Champions a generic multi-sports title designed to show off Sony's new motion controlled hardware? Of course. Is it complete shovelware just designed to be bundled wit...
Abstract: Attempting to mimic the Nintendo Wii's success with Wii Sports, Sony has released Sports Champions side-by-side with the brand-spanking-new PlayStation Move. Back in 2007, Nintendo was able to show that simple sports games make up perhaps the best exhi...
Responsive and mostly intuitive motion controls, Plenty of variety courtesy of the six sports and their respective minigames, Most events are accessible enough for anyone to pick up and play, Great tutorials and gentle singleplayer difficulty curve.

There are some genuinely clever uses for Move on offer, along with some addictive gameplay.
Only half of the games show any longevity, and when there's only six to begin with that's hardly impressive. There's an overall lack of innovation, and the AI avatars are so typecast they border on offensive.
