  • Realistic gameplay with plenty of depth, Be a Pro online mode is great fun, Huge number of solo and multiplayer game modes, Unparalleled presentation and attention to detail.
  • AI is a bit too good at getting the ball, Expensive Adidas Live Season updates, Frequently laggy online play, Some dodgy AI goalkeeping.

  • FIFA 09 isn’t perfect, but it remains the best football game around. The improvements to gameplay, ball physics and AI combine to produce a rewarding experience and the new game modes are excellent and provide hours of fun. ...

  • Management mode. Be a Pro mode. The huge online component. Spectacular animations bring the pitch alive. Highly addictive.
  • Occasional bugs. Graphics a bit blurry and unfocused when the camera pans out. Instruction manual is sorely lacking. Too addictive!
