  • Abstract:  The Mario Tennis games from Nintendo and Camelot have a pretty devoted fan following based almost entirely on previous portable entries in the series, most notably the Gameboy Color and GBA titles that incorporated a single-player RPG mode that a lot o...

  • Abstract:  Mario Tennis Open is a puzzler. On one hand, it’s a great tennis game that, much like its predecessors, is simple to grasp but also has depth. On the other, there just isn’t much to it. With a lack of strong single-player content, Open’s focus is shift...

  • A pleasant diversion. Appealing graphics filled with bright colours. Classic, lively characters. Strikes a good balance between being accessible for younger gamers and providing a challenge for more skilled players.
  • A dearth of game modes and mini-games. Character differentiation through play styles seems superfluous. 3D is a bad idea. Hardly justifies the investment in a crowded game market.

  • Abstract:  Mario Tennis Open is the newest Mario tennis title from the Japanese game developer, Camelot. (In case anyone is counting, I believe this makes it Mario tennis title #4.) Like most Mario titles, Mario Tennis Open lets you play as any one of the gang of...

  • Abstract:  The only problem with being the only sports enthusiast on the team is that as soon as any title is released that has any links to sports at all it becomes my problem, or opportunity, to review it.Most of the time I really don't mind as I enjoy most sports...
