  • Lots of vehicles, courses, and game modes to choose from, split-screen multiplayer mode
  • Unsatisfactory online mode, won’t run on Macs using Intel graphics cards Min specs: Min Specs: OS X 10.4, Universal, isn’t supported on MacBooks and Mac minis
  • Rally racing has been tried before on the Mac, mainly in shareware form, and while adequate, it’s never looked, sounded or performed so well. If you’ve ever wanted to kick up mud and dirt as you throw a 300HP all-wheel-drive foreign coupe arou...

  • Visually and aurally impressive. Solid controls. Plenty of extras. Fun play.
  • Slightly steep learning curve. Does not support integrated graphics hardware.
  • In recent months Mac gaming has taken a turn for the better with developers offering big name titles ported to the Mac. Feral Interactive, known for porting Tomb Raider Anniversary and Fable, provides rally-racing enthusiasts with the frantic drift-fes...

  • Controls feel responsive and fun. Vast number of tracks and real-world cars. Single-Mac multiplayer splits screens or moderates turns. Universal binary.
  • Doesn’t work with GMA graphics chip that shares memory with main system RAM. Online competition uses external (free) GameRanger service instead of ingame matching. Forcefeedback doesn’t work with a 10.4Intel system.
  • The incredible depth kept us playing. We often had to race stages again to post times good enough to progress, but we always felt close enough to have fun. Even in the disappointment of losing, we kept coming back for more. ...

  • Abstract:  There are very few things in life that can capture most of my passions all in one go. First and foremost, driving. Yes, driving is one passion of mine that surpasses my love for most other things in life. If it’s a nice relaxing drive though the desert...
