I wish there was more to do in it. More stuff should come later
But the lack of games and the relative shallowness of most of the offerings make the experience feel shallow. It's awesome
It just doesn't hold my attention for long. I didn't find anything

Big selection of apps and vids, Fog issue solved, Easy, fun, affordable
Only works with Galaxy phones, No high end features like motion tracking, Will Daydream kill Gear VR
Sure, this is essentially a Galaxy Note 4 accessory so won't be much use to anyone without the Samsung phablet. Compare it to Razer's OSVR headset, which is designed to be as open as Android, and it's clear Samsung still wants to lock users in. But the Ge...

Delivers a strong VR experience, Comfortable to wear, Free apps and videos
Very limited supply of content right now, Expensive when you factor in a Note 4 and gamepad
Open Gallery If Samsung wants to be regarded as an innovator, it needs to produce more devices such as the Gear VR. While the lack of content makes it feel a little like a prototype, it's an actual, buyable product that gives the user an impress...

In light of the limitations outlined above, it's understandable that Samsung has tagged the epithet "Innovator's Edition" onto the end of the Gear VR's name. This is obviously an early adopter device, and isn't ready yet for mass-market consumption. The m...
Samsung's definitely proving to be an innovator with its announcements at IFA 2014, with the Gear VR and the new Galaxy Note Edge smartphone. We think the Gear VR has the potential to be a big hit in the education and gaming markets, and the low price mea...

It's a relatively affordable VR accessory; it creates a better-than-expected sense of immersion using a Note 4 as its screen and engine; apps, while limited, are all free. And it's actually available to purchase now
It only works with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4; the app assortment consists mainly of demos and quick minigames; its video resolution in VR still grainy, compared with TVs and tablets. It doesn't work with full-fledged PC-based Oculus software
The Gear VR Innovator Edition is a cool -- and very promising -- entry ticket for early adopters looking for an affordable taste of virtual reality....

Abstract: The Samsung Gear VR is not like other virtual reality headsets. Unlike Oculus Rift or Sony Morpheus, the Gear VR doesn't come with any display built-in - instead you'll need to buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to pop into the front of the headset for the immer...
Completely wireless, Great head tracking, Solid content library
Resolution is a little disappointing, Full game content expensive, Only compatible with some Galaxy phones
For anyone interested in purchasing a VR headset and who's already a Samsung flagship owner, the Gear VR is a no-brainer. It's easy to use and the content selection keeps growing. There's plenty of appeal here. But perhaps those not already packing a G...
Dave: I have to say I am impressed with the Gear VR and was a little sad to see it go back. Samsung has done a good job bringing VR to the masses (at least those with compatible Galaxy smartphones). The Gear VR spans the gap between those cheap cardboard...
