The screen isn't perfect but it's still very good and highly contrasted, Highquality build and finish, Smooth Android interface with nice additions from Acer, Plenty of connections and good sound output, Good for web browsing and games

Apart from the fact that Honeycomb is still finding its feet, the Acer Iconia A500 is a very good tablet indeed. It doesn't have the best battery life, but its design, hardware and extras compared with most of the competition make it a genuine alternative...

A competent Android 3 tablet, but just loses out to the Asus Eee Pad Transformer in the value stakes...
Fast and fun to use, Great Web browser with Flash support, USB port makes syncing easy, Slightly cheaper than the Xoom
Good Honeycomb apps and widgets are currently hard to find, Plastic case looks fairly cheap, Heavier and larger than the Xoom
The Acer Iconia Tab A500 tablet is a relatively heavy hunk of plastic, but its Android 3.0 Honeycomb software is a treat. The A500 will be even more fun to use when Google makes it easier to find dedicated Honeycomb apps....
