The ThermalTake 1200w ToughPower looks damn good on paper, and has a whole host of connectors capable of sending power to nearly anything you chuck at it. However, the issues with unstable performances aren’t a nice sight, and I can only hope that i...
At the end of the day, the Thermaltake TPD-1200M passed all of our tests today and it did so in a way that was not awe inspiring but at the same time not dreadful. In fact, this unit performed much as it looked from the exterior; fine but not amazing. So...

Although as mentioned most PSU manufacturers are focusing their resources in producing 80Plus Platinum power supply units (and for the upcoming 80Plus Titanium ones) i was very pleased to see that Thermaltake saw fit to throw an up-to-date 80Pl...

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W PSU is a power house. This PSU comes equipped with four +12v rails and supports 6 PCIe devices - 3x 6-pin and 3x 8-pin. It is mostly modular and features a nice large fan that provides very good cooling to this unit ...
Abstract: Video Review: There's no surprise that the Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W Power Supply performs very well. With 1200 watts it's clearly not intended for the budget market, but rather the hardcore gamer. Having a multiple video card setup, lots of other hardware, and overclocking requires a power supply of this wattage to keep everything stable. This product also has a quiet 140mm fan, lots of sleeved modular leads, and looks excellent. It is fairly long though, so it might not fit in some mid-tower cases and it's pricey, which is to be expected. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.
Gunmetal finish, Modular, Easy connect ends, Quiet Operation, Very solid
Wires not sleeved all the way into the power supply, The 1000W version of this PSU performed better
If you are running a hardcore system and need 1200W Thermaltake has you covered with the ToughPower 1200W! It has all of the quality that you would expect from a Thermaltake product. Quality design, all of the cables you will need, and a badass gunmet...
