  • The Dell XPS 13 fits a glass-covered 13-inch screen into a smaller-than-expected body. The sophisticated design is eye-catching and sturdy, without driving up the price
  • The limited port selection doesn't include HDMI or an SD card slot, the display should be better, and battery life falls behind other slim laptops'
  • Dell packs a 13-inch display into a very small footprint in the XPS 13 ultrabook, making it one of the few slim laptops that actually top the MacBook Air in some areas.

  • Decent build quality. Backlit keyboard. Dell's competitive pricing
  • Touchpad can be erratic, especially when scrolling. No HDMI. Poor contrast screen. Vent on the bottom
  • Dell's ultrabook gets a passing grade. The touch pad is immensely frustrating, the battery life could be better and the software package needs work. It's built well, but one obvious thing remains; there are better choices out there on the market....

  • Design and build quality, Performance, Size and weight
  • Very limited amount of ports, Screen could be better, Touchpad drivers need work
  • There's no doubt the Dell XPS 13 is a beautiful laptop. Its carbon fibre base and Gorilla Glass components not only look good, they give the laptop plenty of strength. Furthermore, the XPS 13 is a fast unit thanks to its Core i7 CPU and 256GB SSD. It lack...
