  • astonishing looks, awesome IPS display, improved trackpad and backlit chiclet keyboard, solid performances, decent battery life, runs cool and quiet
  • still not the best trackpad, average speakers, can get hot when pushed
  • The Asus Zenbook UX31A is my new favorite ultrabook, as it manages to fix most of the issues of the first generation Zenbooks, while adding a Full HD IPS screen and keeping the cool design and prices unchanged....

  • Abstract:  A gorgeous Ultrabook with a superb Full-HD display and plenty of stamina, but the price is simply far too highRating: 4Average: 4 (1 vote) The Asus Zenbook UX31E was the first laptop to nearly nail the Ultrabook formula. It buzzed with potential: it ha...

  • Good overall performance from the CPU, RAM and SSD, 5 1/2hour battery life, Low heat, Good air ventilation, Large multitouch touchpad, Extremely thin and light (1.3 kg), Matte IPS display with good contrast
  • Limited connectivity means you have to use adapters (for VGA, Ethernet, etc.), Low gaming performance, Mediocre webcam
  • While in terms of power, battery life and finishing not much has changed since the excellent UX31E, the Zenbook Prime UX31A adds a second USB 3.0 port and, most importantly, a superb, matte, Full HD IPS display. That bumps it up to the coveted five sta...

  • I’m not sure if the Zenbook Prime is the best of the new wave of Ultrabooks, but it’s definitely one to watch for. It’s got great build quality, a few small but noticeable upgrades in the keyboard and audio, and a display that is definitely superior to...

  • Abstract:  From a distance, it could easily be mistaken for an Air, but the Zenbook is shinier, more industrial and not as smartly dressed, with a mismatched lid and body. That said, the build quality is spectacular. It's cold to the touch, at least at first – beryll...

  • Utterly gorgeous; plenty of processing power,
  • Some battery life has been sacrificed to keep the dimensions down.

  • The Asus Zenbook UX31A has everything we've ever wanted in an ultrabook. It has stunning good looks, is extremely powerful, has long-battery life and is very light. It really doesn't get any better than this, which is why we're going to have an extremely...

  • As ever, a stunning design, elegant metal casing, full HD IPS touch screen, slim
  • Fingerprint magnet, micro ports mean carrying dongle adapters
  • The Asus Zenbook Prime was and is the definition of a high end Ultrabook. It's still the poster child for what Intel imagined when they coined the Ultrabook term: thin, light, extremely stylish and quick. Among Windows machines, it's still hard to beat...
