  • The price is right, Nice size, Atom processor
  • Build isnt great, Storage method is odd
  • To try and differentiate its latest mini-laptop from the current rash of releases, Acer is referring to its Aspire One (£199 inc. VAT) as a two-handed internet device. The idea is that youll use it for browsing the internet and consuming media instea...

  • Abstract:  Heres another one of those cheap as chips notebooks, fondled here by Kat and Dan. The Acer Aspire picks up where the eeePC left off last week, and by all accounts, its worth every one of the 23,500 pennies it costs.

  • Abstract:  It's a shame. The AO751 potentially has so much right, but a few key bungles keep me from throwing my weight behind Acer's big-boned netbook. Maybe a deluxe model with a better CPU or a discrete GPU? Maybe less preinstalled gunk to clean out? Whatever the case, as shipped today, this model is tough to recommend.

  • With regards to overall form and function, Acer did a nice job with the 751h. You will notice some reflections and glaring in brightly-lit environments due to its glossy screen, but that is a small price to pay for this beauty. As was the case in our ...

  • Abstract:  Finding ways to differentiate your product in the notebook market can be difficult. Most companies are currently going with the Intel Atom N270/N280 CPU combined with the 945GSE chipset. The result is that performance is nearly identical between simila...
