The 24" screen gives you a lot of space to get things done. The available software allows for easier access to many of the on-screen controls normally relegated to front buttons. Integrated webcam and other conferencing features are top notch for business
Initial set up with the stand already attached was a bit of a pain, though that shouldn't really be a frequent problem. Price may be a bit more than some would want to pay, though included features soften the blow quite a bit

The Dell UltraSharp U2412m has great performance with excellent ergonomic support and a robust and easy-to-navigate OSD with tons of options for customization. It also has five USB ports, and it's currently available for about $350
HDMI is missing from the connection options, and performance-wise, it's not quite there compared with high-end, pro-grade IPS panels, especially when it comes to viewing angles

After using it, the Dell U2412M comes out with a lot of positives and no big negatives. The screen has a nice 16:10 aspect ratio that makes it feel roomier than a normal 16:9 display, and it has a nice adjustable stand that made it easy to fit on my desk...
