  • Massive good looks, Two fans included, Fairly quiet, Wide compatibility
  • Cooling not commensurate with cost or size, Somewhat difficult to install, Very large and bulky, Overclocking? Fuggedaboutit!
  • Evercool's Transformer 4 CPU cooler, with its dual 120mm fans, 8mm copper heatpipes and direct touch design should be a top performer in the CPU cooling market. Its enormous size alone would seem to insure excellent cooling. However, as we see in the...

  • Abstract:  On the test bench today is a new dual 120mm fan heatsink from Evercool called the Transformer 4 HPJ-12025. Its twin fans are arranged in a push-pull configuration and rotate at a leisurely 1000RPM. ...

  • Great load temps, solid mounting kit, sleeved fan cables
  • cheap plastic fans, must remove motherboard to install
  • This cooler yields great load temps, and manages to beat the competition by a full 3C at load. The two included fans are made of brittle plastic that breaks easily, but the connectors are sleeved. It has a smooth copper base and a solid mounting kit,...

  • Totally silent running, Large expanse of chrome looks great in your case, Will fit basically all rigs built in the last five or so years
  • Though it works satisfactorily at lower overclocks, it just doesnt cool well enough for higher overclocks
  • To be honest, I dont review a lot of CPU coolers, and most of those that I have reviewed lately are high-dollar models. I havent tried the bulk of the coolers available that fit LGA 1366, so I really have no idea how many of them will keep an i7 dow...

  • Abstract:  We’re all for copper, and factory lapping is nice, but the proof is in the performance. In this small group of samples, the midpriced Evercool Transformer 4 is the best pick..

  • Exceptional cooling, Relatively simple installation, Quiet, Great mounting design, The Twister was simple to install and connect and the two ways of mounting were nice,
  • I would like to see some 4wire PMW compatible fans to take advantage of newer motherboards power and cooling management systems, The instructions need to be proofread for some simple spelling errors. These could be a little confusing to the novice PC bui...
  • The EVERCOOL Transformer 4 Heat Pipe CPU Cooler is a definite win. It’s quiet. It installed relatively easy. And it performed very well. I can only imagine how much better the temps would be if you used a good aftermarket thermal paste, such as...

  • Abstract:  Today were testing the Evercool Transformer 4 CPU HPJ-12025 cooler that offers Socket 1366 compatibility in a full tower setup with dual 120mm fans. It is a large heatsink that looks to offer some rather flashy aesthetics for the interior of your case...

  • Build Quality, Performance, Dual Fan Solution, D.T.H Base, Price
  • Individual Fan Cables, Noisy Under Load
  • The Transformer 4 is the best cooler by Evercool that we have ever seen and that can only be considered as a positive thing. Certainly with its performance it is not going to win any prices but in the end it is all about what needs everyon...

  • If you are going to based a cooler on nothing but performance than the Evercool would come up a little short when it comes to the likes of the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme even with its dual fan setup. I was a little disappointed actually as I thou...
