  • Excellent image quality for an entrylevel mirrorless, User interface ideal for consumers stepping up from pointandshoots, Speedy and accurate autofocusing, Zoom lever on body, Tremendous value.
  • Lack of hot shoe or accessory port limits more advanced shooting, No electronic viewfinder, Performance lags behind previous model, especially on burst shooting speed

  • Excellent performance and image quality, Solid build and design, Very affordable for a mirrorless kit, 16-50mm power zoom lens in the box
  • No accessory port or mic input, Power zoom is too choppy for video
  • Sony's latest entry-level mirrorless camera is hard to beat....

  • No hot shoe, Poor placement of zoom slider on lens barrel
  • Bridge cameras "bridge" the gap between two different types of camera. The NEX-3N tries to bridge the gap between compact point-and-shoot digital cameras and enthusiast oriented interchangeable lens cameras. The third generation NEX-3N was designed to m...

  • Looking and feeling more like a compact camera than ever, thanks to the combination of the new finger-tip zoom lever and the 16-50mm power-zoom lens, the Sony NEX-3N is almost the perfect introduction to interchangeable lens cameras. Significantly smalle...

  • If price has been the only thing keeping you from buying an ILC, you officially have no more excuses left. While the NEX-3n isn't the best ILC on Sony's roster, at this price it's worth every penny. Shooters used to sub-$500 compacts should be very please...

  • Attractive price. APS-C image sensor. Compact zoom lens. Excellent high ISO performance. 180° tilting LCD. Built-in flash.
  • Screen not as sharp as on previous NEX models. Kit lens isn't the best performer. No EVF or expansion options. Front-facing LCD eliminates downward tilt. No dedicated battery charger
  • The Sony Alpha NEX-3N isn't as good a performer as its predecessor, but it does include a collapsible power zoom lens and it comes at a lower price....
