The K5, from which the K01 is derived, is an excellent camera, so the fundamentals of the K01 are fine. Colour and exposure are good.
The kit lens autofocus is slow, noisy and imprecise. Images are soft. This may be attributable to the kit lens or it could be because of the change from phase detection auto focus in the K5 to contrast detection in the K01. Other makers get better perform
