  • Two lenses, small, compact, easy to use
  • Looks like a bit of a gimmick
  • The V570 is good, but it does seem like the long way around solving the problem of creating a lens that can cope with both wide-angle and close up shots

  • Abstract:  The Kodak Easyshare V570 is interesting for only one reason, its two lenses. While the first lens is somewhat typical, the second lens shows a 23mm equivalent ultra-wide field of view. This is unique among ultra-compact cameras and even very rare in l...

  • Abstract:  Ever have that problem where you want to take a nice group picture of your friends, say at the Grand Canyon, and you just can’t get ‘em all in the frame? So you ask them to keep backing up a step and before you know it… oops! Well, this camera will hel...

  • Abstract:  At first glance the v570 is a cut down v610. It has many of the features you need from the v610 and drops a few that you probably dont but its metal iris conceals a secret that sets it apart from all other compacts. FeaturesIll save you some time he...

  • Wide-angle lens is handy feature, extremely easy to use, model is unique in consumer market, 2.5-inch LCD is sharp and bright
  • Add-on components can be pricey, camera has no viewfinder, few manual features
  • One area where most consumer-level digital cameras have lagged is in their ability to create wide-angle shots. Most of them include a zoom lens, but almost none can handle wide-angle photos, too. Kodak has fixed this problem by including two lenses wi...

  • Acceptable image quality outdoors and with good light, Dual lens concept interesting, Very compact camera with a good ergonomic design, 25inch, highres LCD monitor, Easy to use, Solidly built
  • 23 mm lens a bit too soft focus, Compression too strong, No compression choices, Flash underpowered, Sensitive to noise, LCD screen hard to see outdoors
  • The Kodak EasyShare V570 continues the design of other V-series cameras from Kodak, offering a thin and sharply rectangular metallic body with almost no protrusions. However, the V570 stands out from others in the series by having not one but two lense...

  • Two lenses and CCD sensors; long zoom range; wide-angle lens; good image quality; clear, bright LCD; easily accessible controls; sharing feature helps you mark images; in-camera panorama stitcher.
  • Camera must switch lenses while zooming; two lenses take up space; weak flash; no USB port; dock required to attach the camera to your Mac; short battery life.
  • The Kodak EasyShare V570 delivers high image quality and provides a wide zoom range in a compact package, but short battery life and a few quirks reduce its appeal.
