  • Sharp images in bright light, Huge 30x zoom lens, Electronic viewfinder, Manual controls, Video recording at 1080p
  • Poor low light performance, Chunky device, Slow autofocus, Has a flimsy feel to it
  • It is true that there are many better super zoom devices in the market but inspite of that, the Kodak EasyShare Max Z990 doesn't fail to impress. It is one of the powerful devices currently available in the market which would never disappoint you. If you ...

  • The Kodak Easyshare Max Z990 sells at a market operating price Rs. 17,000. This is a really good camera and does well in the build department. The camera also offers very good shots, and the zoom is really good. Kodak has really stepped up their game i...

  • Low price; Good menus; Powerful zoom
  • Some colours oversaturated; Focusing occasionally slow
  • A mixed report for the £220 Kodak EasyShare Max Z990. On the one hand you're getting a long 30x zoom for very little money, but some tones -- particularly blues -- weren't rendered as well as we would have hoped in some conditions, in particular when t...

  • The end of another eventful review and I have to be brutally honest and say that I have been severely underwhelmed by the Kodak Easyshare Max Z990 (Why such a long name?!) It has a claim on its head as being a 'top of the range Kodak' but to be honest ...

  • The huge zoom, comfy grip and attractive price tag will be enough to win the Kodak Z990 Max many fans, but if you want the advantages of an SLR-like camera then you’ll find a much better camera in the gimmick-free Fujifilm HS20. ...

  • Lens is satisfactory at wideangle settings and very good at telephoto settings, Big handle for sturdy grip, Full HD video with optical zoom and stereo sound, Very good super macro mode, AA batteries (easy to pick up replacements while out and about)
  • Performance at higher ISO settings (don't bother going higher than 800 ISO), Very slow to start up, Autofocus 'pumps' in video mode, TN screen (looks dark when viewed from below), AA batteries (heavy and prone to flying out when you open the compartment door)
  • The Kodak Easyshare Max Z990 is a nice surprise. Kodak's picture quality has improved, partly thanks to increased sensitivity but mostly because of a decent new lens. Drawbacks include the TN screen, a few strange idiosyncrasies in handling, occasional...

  • Fancy ultrazoom technology merges with painless shooting. Inspiration and creativity are the only necessities, not technical know-how. That’s the concept, right? That’s the “Easy” part? Kodak’s EasyShare Max, also known as the Z990, is an update to la...

• Sharp images in good light. Huge, 30x zoom lens. Electronic viewfinder. Manual controls. Lots of art filters and sharing options. Shoots 1080p video,
  • Poor lowlight performance. Very large for a compact camera. Slows down under heavy use. Autofocus was slow and unreliable in tests. Flimsyfeeling build.
