  • 1/125th flash sync. FIX THIS
  • I can't tell you about all the literal dreams that I've had about a camera like the Fujifilm GFX 50R; but I can tell you all about how I'm incredibly pleased that it seems to be modeled akin to the Fujifilm GW690 III of many years ago. This camera is Fuji...

  • The Fujifilm GFX 50S magically offers medium-format image quality in a camera body that's comparable in size and weight to a 35mm full-frame DSLR. Being able to use a camera with such a large sensor both in and out of a studio environment is something...

  • The Fujifilm GFX 50S represents the company's entrance into the medium format digital market. It takes the ethos of APS-C X-series cameras and combines it with a larger sensor. Control points are plentiful, image quality is exceptional and autofocus is pr...

  • The Fujifilm GFX 50S is a medium format mirrorless camera with a 51.4 Megapixel sensor that's 1.7 times larger than the full-frame 35mm format. It's the first model in Fujifilm's new GFX system, aimed at photographers who want the ultimate in image qualit...

  • Fantastic image quality across the board; Excellent RAW dynamic range; Superb high ISO performance; Functional and user-friendly body; Robust weather-sealed construction; Detachable EVF; Tilting touchscreen; Very good lens quality,
  • Slow AF speeds; Performance can't compete with high-end full-frame cameras; Limited native lens selection so far; Expensive accessories; Unimpressive JPEG dynamic range; 1/125s maximum flash sync,

  • Do I like the camera? I don't hate it, but I'm not falling head over heels for this prototype either. I personally wanted something more like a Mamiya 7 II that was rangefinder style with an EVF. Or something with a top-down LCD screen that lets me shoot...

  • For many photographers the step up to the Fujifilm GFX 50S is still a big one, not just financially, but also logistically. When you also consider the cost of additional lenses and the possible need for a system upgrade to more efficiently handle the bigg...
