  • Abstract:  With action camera juggernaut GoPro making moves to muscle in on DJI's multicopter dominance , DJI is fighting back with a portable action camera of its own, and one that can do things no GoPro can do yet.The Osmo is a hand-held 4K action camera on a stic...

  • Wide range of video recording modes and resolutions, Rock solid stability and handle flexibility, Very easy to use, Great video and photo quality for field use, Highly ergonomic, Smartphone app for extra controls and live video feed
  • Video and photo quality isn't the best in low light, Not waterproof, Somewhat limited in its scope, Weak battery life
  • The bottom line is that DJI has created a great Steadicam product with the OSMO and we highly recommend it for anyone who needs just this sort of shooting rig. However, if you're not dead-set on a handheld Steadicam, feel free to just go for a full drone...

  • Fantastic stabilization, Good video quality in general, Comfortable grip, Full-featured app
  • Battery life could be longer, Videos getnoisy easily, Can't transfer 4K videos to phone, Microphones aren'tvery sensitive
  • This may be DJI's first attempt at making a hand-held gimbal, but it's already by far one of the best, if not the best, solutions in the current market. Great stabilization, intuitive software and comfortable grip make this a fun, complete package...

  • Quite simply, the Osmo does exactly what is mean to do. It is easy to use, stabilises its X3 camera brilliantly, and the resulting footage looks fantastic.Obviously it uses a smaller compact camera size sensor, so this will have its limitations in terms o...

  • Simple app, Superb handheld stabilization, High quality 4K video
  • Tricky to add external audio recorder, Minimum focus distance 1.5m, No programmable motion
  • The DJI OSMO offers a whole new way of shooting video handheld. The design is simple but effective and the video quality is really good too. It's perfect for one-person videography...

  • Abstract:  The DJI OM160 OSMO has the precision of joystick control and steadycam gimbal. It's a drone camera without the drone, so you can keep your feet and camera close to the ground... if you want to. The 12MP camera is packed with a Sony Exmor R CMOS; 1/2.3” wi...

  • Great video quality, good stabillisation, handy manual controls
  • Short battery life, builtin microphone picks up motor noise from the gimbal unit
  • The Osmo was impressive – the 4K video quality was very good and, more importantly, looked like it was shot on an expensive Steadicam rig.The price, while not very cheap, isn't that expensive as most camera stabilisers (without the camera) cost as much as...
