  • Abstract:  Video Review: The first batch of 3D televisions have arrived, but Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn find out if this new feature is worth the price bump with the Samsung 46" 3D LED TV. With spectacular image quality and a 240 Hz refresh rate, find out if t...

  • Is the Samsung 700WF a worthwhile 2D LED HDTV that just happens to be 3D ready for when the time is truly right or is it the perfect 3D LED HDTV for the early adopter? I have to say it's the first, for even if you want to be an early adopter of 3D in t...

  • Abstract:  3D has a bright future if this is what we can expect from other manufacturers, but there are still a few small weaknesses. The Samsung UE 46 C 7000 is also an outstanding 2D TV, offering sharp..

  • The UN55C7000 is a good TV. It isn't the best one we've seen, and certainly had some issues at launch, but it certainly isn't the worst example of a brand new technology. If you ignore the special features, the UN55C7000 would be ridiculously expensi...

  • Abstract:  With color information both light and dark appearing so deeply saturated, contrast effect is excellent. Blacks appear inky and sometimes lose dark shadow detail. White light sometimes is distractingly too bright. Contrast appears more intense on the sc...

  • So many features! Great Blu-ray pictures. Best remote control yet. Integrated PVR with the addition of a USB drive. Two sets of 3D glasses included
  • 3D is a slow drive through Wrong Town. 2D-to-3D conversion is fun, but when it gets it wrong it's awful. DVD's display softness
  • While 3D is probably one of the weakest aspects of this television, the 55-inch Samsung UA55C7000's abilities in other areas almost make up for it....

  • For now, using the battery-powered glasses and a 3D Blu-ray of Monsters vs Aliens, this TV stacks up and is well worth rushing out to buy for the upcoming State Of Origin series, which Channel Nine will put to air in 3D. And at $2,999 Samsung has really set the cat among the pigeons, with several vendors already scratching their heads as they struggle to compete with the Korean TV giant.
  • On the downside, Samsung need to sort out their remote controls, because at times I was utterly confused as to which button to press. Another weakness is the Skype control. This needs a lot of work as entering text and numbers using a remote control was a pain in the arse. If you want Skype you will have to persevere with the process, because when you do the service is brilliant and the picture i
