  • The Google Home Mini is a stylish-looking speaker with surprisingly strong sound quality. The Google Assistant is a capable Alexa competitor, especially thanks to its ability to search out detailed answers to a wide variety of questions
  • There isn't much the Home Mini does that Alexa can't do, too. It also lacks a line out jack, and requires Chromecast Audio in order to connect with at external speaker setup
  • The Google Home Mini is a great device, and a no-brainer for existing Google Home users -- but it isn't the Echo Dot-killer Google probably needs it to be...

  • Fluffy, friendly design, Sounds better than an Echo Dot, Just as knowledgeable as bigger Home, Strong smart home support, Recognises the voices of up to six people and gives personalised replies, Good value
  • Doesn't have a 3.5mm line-out or have Bluetooth out, Touch buttons on the top have been disabled, Still favours Google services over others, Echo still more versatile for music and shopping
  • Unless you've already filled your house with Echo Dots, the Home Mini is shaping up to be a great entrée to home voice control. It's nicer looking than the Echo Dot, costs the same and works better with Google services like Gmail, Maps and Calendar, part...

  • Attractive design, Google Assistant delivers good responses to questions, growing support for third-party devices
  • Fabric won't clean easily, no audio output, sound quality isn't great (but then it's not designed as a speaker for music, really)
  • There's nothing especially remarkable about Google Home Mini, except perhaps one thing: it does everything the bigger Home product does, but is much, much smaller.Home Mini isn't designed as a speaker for music, though. Sure, it has a speaker, and can con...

  • If you've got an Android smartphone, just ask the speaker to find your phone and it will make your phone ring, The circular shape offers 360degree sound so no matter where you stand in the room you get the same sound quality, Google Home Mini can recognis
  • No 3.5mm auxiliary port, so you can't play music stored on devices that don't have Bluetooth through the speaker, The sound quality lacks punch and bass, You can only summon Google Assistant by saying 'Okay, Google' or 'Hey, Google', and there's no way to
  • The Google Home Mini works well as a small inexpensive speaker with a comprehensive voice assistant. The price does mean there's a compromise on sound quality. This couldn't be used as a main home speaker but for a small bedroom or to simply to expand the...

  • At first glance, the Google Home Mini looks like a step in the right direction. We don't all have £129 to spare for a digital helper, so offering a cheaper alternative at £49 is has been badly needed.Whether or not the Google Home Mini will be a better pu...

  • Abstract:  So one of the more forgotten unveiling from Google's Pixel 4 event is the new Home Mini Nest Mini. The original one dropped back in 2017 and got its way into many homes w/ its abilities and $49 price point. At a quick glance its more or less identical to...

  • Excellent design that looks great in any room, 2.5-inch circular screen is bright, crisp, and doubles as a clock, Camera can be completely disabled, ZigBee smart home hub onboard, Large, vibrant, higher-resolution display, Vastly improved user interface,
  • Hefty cord somewhat limits where it can be placed, Videos are truncated in full-screen mode, No Z-Wave support, Not the best smart speaker for music, The power plug can be a little tricky to hide, Lack of visual search can be frustrating, Plays catch-up t
