  • Abstract:  You can say what you want about the blokes at Rockstar but there is no denying this: Much like the characters that star in their games, they know how to stay cool when things get hot and heavy.

  • Amazing writing; incredibly detailed world; memorable characters; gorgeous visuals; impressive sound; intense combat; excellent multiplayer.
  • Occasional graphical glitches; combat can be troublesome in confined spaces; not for the easily offended.
  • What is the American Dream? More specifically, what is your American Dream? Posing that question to a million people would likely net you a million unique answers, as the term (and the theory itself) means something different to everyone. Do you want a...

  • Abstract:  Like this story? Buzz it up on Yahoo! Buzz. Niko Bellic, Grand Theft Auto IV's bruiser from the former Eastern Bloc, is a stone-cold couch potato, a desperate online dater with dead-on aim, and a chronic websurfer who could kill you in a hand-to-han...

  • Abstract:  If Grand Theft Auto IV is anything like the previous iterations, it will offer a robust single-player experience, the kind that can last several hundred hours. That always worked well in the past, but Rockstar decided that wasnt enough this time aroun...

  • Abstract:  Theres a definite air of confidence drifting through the corridors of Rockstars West London offices. With the release of what may be the studios most feverishly anticipated game nudging so tantalisingly close, its slowly lifting the veil from its b...

  • Abstract:  Nick CarrawayVideogames, like any other entertainment medium, can benefit or suffer from massive media hype, and Grand Theft Auto IV, or GTA IV, has certainly experienced both sides. An incredibly ambitious achievement, GTA IV drops the player in the s...

  • Abstract:  The gaming market has seen its fair share of big name releases over the past year or so, but in the back of our minds we all knew what we were really waiting for even before it was officially announced. Ever since the 360 console launched and the PS3 c...

  • Its the best GTA ever, in all ways. If you thought the other GTA titles were impressive, just wait until you get your hands on GTA IV. Were serious. In terms of city size, gameplay mechanics, mission types, narrative story and user empowerment, GTA I...
  • There arent many things wrong with the game. But if we had to nitpick, the story gets weighed down at points by the introduction of too many characters. You practically need a program to keep track of whos who and whats what. The trademark "GTA glit...
  • Buy it — you know you want to.

  • Everything, but more specifically, the attention to detail. Has to be played to be believed. This game is history in the making and it is simply impossible to adequately describe every amazing attribute.
  • Close-quarter combat is clumsy. Would have been nice to have seen a PC version at launch. Neither of these detract from what is a simply mind-blowing game that will thrill for many years to come.
