  • Abstract:  Given what Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is as a product, it would be easy to boil this review down to, "Yep, it's just like Monster Hunter Freedom 2, but with more stuff! It's cool, so have fun!" And though that is true, there's more to it than that. U...

  • Great visuals and audio , Significantly more content than its predecessor , Data install significantly improves load times
  • Camera control is inexcusably awkward , Continued lack of lock-on control exacerbates the poor camera , Too much time is spent wading through menus
  • Even with tens of hours of new content and welcome improvements over its predecessor, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite has yet to hunt down a few critical annoyances....

  • Top notch graphics, deep weapon and armour customisation, tons of missions to play through.
  • The camera is horrible and the combat is poorly implemented

  • Abstract:  If you've never heard of Monster Hunter, chances are pretty good this whole internet thing is new to you too. Monster Hunter, you see, is a bona fide phenomenon in Japan. It wouldn't be much of a stretch to claim that the series is almost single-handed...

  • The multiplayer content stretches the title and adds immense variety to an already deep game.
  • There’s a lot of dialogue and time spent in menus if you play the game correctly, so Unite is not for the impatient. Playing it solo will start off fun but before long you’ll realise it’s an exercise in futility.
