  • Incredibly simple, Doesn't make you feel sick like other VR headsets, Relatively inexpensive
  • Not great for long term use, Not much content available at launch, Not able to charge your phone at the same time
  • Probably not. Unless you are a developer, this isn't even really meant for you. Yes, Gear VR is super cool, and super promising for the future of virtual reality, but there's not enough to do quite yet to justify getting one. That is, unless you are a bl...

  • It's a relatively affordable VR accessory; it creates a better-than-expected sense of immersion using a Note 4 as its screen and engine; apps, while limited, are all free. And it's actually available to purchase now
  • It only works with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4; the app assortment consists mainly of demos and quick minigames; its video resolution in VR still grainy, compared with TVs and tablets. It doesn't work with full-fledged PC-based Oculus software
  • The Gear VR Innovator Edition is a cool -- and very promising -- entry ticket for early adopters looking for an affordable taste of virtual reality....

  • Great fun, Clear screen, No lag
  • Bulky headset, You need a Note 4
  • The Samsung GearVR is better than I had expected it to be. We have used phone-based VR in the past but this feels superior and built better. This isn't a gimmick like Google Cardboard, it's a fun add on for the Note 4....

  • Abstract:  The Samsung Gear VR may look a little weird, but it's actually more important than you think: it's the world's first commercial VR experience using Oculus Rift technology. We went hands on to see if it's “all that”.Gear VR may have the blood of Oculus flo...

  • Gorgeous, immersive games, Mostly comfortable fit, Cheap. if you have the phone
  • Limited phone compatibility, No positional tracking, Rare performance/heat issues
  • Without positional tracking and standalone input devices, the Gear VR can't provide as rich and engrossing experiences as the Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, and HTC Vive will be able to next year. It's tough not to think about that when weighing a purchase...
