  • Wide range of Internet-enabled widgets. Surprisingly versatile. Cuddliest technology device ever
  • PSAs and sponsored widgets appear without your permission. Touchscreen responds to fingernails better than fingertips. Requires power cord at all times.
  • The Chumby is one of the first Internet appliances that will please geeks and nontechies alike. We easily recommend it for anyone who wants to bring Web data into their bedroom, kitchen, living room, or any computer-free zone....

  • Quick access to Web content and radio without a computer
  • No Web browsing or two-way e-mail; no battery; finicky touchscreen
  • A novel concept, but at $180, too many shortcomings and limitations

  • Cute. Leather casing protects device. Stutter-free streaming via Wi-Fi.
  • Expensive. Poor sound quality. Setting the alarm is difficult. Touch screen is quirky and buttons are too small.
  • Meet the Chumby, a Wi-Fi device that wakes you up in the morning and keeps you informed and entertained throughout the day. Its cute and cuddly, but were not sure an alarm clock needs to support so much media or cost this much....
