Swipe-style fingerprint scanner reads prints below the surface so dirt and smudges wont interfere. Replaces username/password with fingerprint at Windows log-on. Can require fingerprint to return from screensaver.
Application lock easily defeated in testing. Locked documents readily obtained from temp files using data-recovery software. Password management utility not useful for Web-based passwords.
The swipe-style fingerprint scanner works well, and using fingerprints for Windows log-on will increase your security. Fingerprint security on return from the screensaver is good, too....
